Subject	embroidered "Z", what should I ask shops that do embroidery

Message	I have leather seat covers that I would like to get embroidered, but I haven't been able find an upholstery shop that has an embroidery machine. Iv read on the net that leather isnt the same as regular cloth, because if the stitching is too close you could punch out the design, must use proper needles etc etc. I bet theres proper threading as well. So my question is what question(s) should I ask to make sure my covers do not get ruined?
